Project Overview
Our task was to develop a new product from the initial idea phase through to a functional prototype, ensuring it could integrate seamlessly with an existing market-ready product.
The Challenge
Integration could be achieved in countless ways. We needed to consider ergonomics, aesthetics, functionality, manufacturability, and lightweight design - all without altering the existing printed circuit boards.
Our Solution
We began by creating several hand-sketched concepts and conducting brainstorming sessions with the client and stakeholders. This collaborative approach helped us finalise one concept before starting any CAD work, saving time and avoiding costly revisions. We also held multiple review sessions along the way to confirm we were on the right track.
Results
Following a final review, we 3D-printed the components and successfully assembled a functional prototype. This prototype is now an effective tool for fundraising and attracting the right investors.
